I'm 99.99% sure Will's stitched photo is of Thoreau, the delicate epicormic sprays mid trunk are a distinctive Thoreau feature. Also Thoreau has a bit smoother bark texture/vertical furrows than Grandfather. Tim's photo is definitely Grandfather.
