Jenny,

I thought your choice was excellent. I enjoy lots of musical genera/styles. If
it fits, it fits. And when it doesn't, it doesn't

On Sunday, Monica and I attended a reading by a friend - basically excerpts
from an upcoming book. The setting was in British Columbia - in the wilderness.
Our friend began and ended the reading with visuals - PowerPoint Presentations
with musical accompaniment. The musical choice featured a popular singer,
singing about a change of life style in Virginia. For me, the music didn't
work. The landscape was inspiring - raw nature. The music failed to carry any
of the natural themes. It was cultural stuff. I kept my mouth shut, but I
wanted to encourage my friend to choose the music more wisely. No call to test
the friendship that way, though.

ENTS,

A 2 minute video - English Oak, Japanese Maple, and some conifers and
buds - from a brief walk through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
yesterday.

(sorry Bob, no classical music accompaniment yet...)

Also, kinda cute video is 2 of my foster 'kids' pecking at a tree-
themed collage I am working on. Under 2 minutes.
