Charts exist from way back- showing the timber volume increase in a stand over time- charts for different forest types and often with multiple curves for different site indexes. Presumably the timber volumes are rougly proportional to carbon sequestration- but the charts don't show carbon build up in the soils. I don't know if that info even exists anywhere- that is as a chart related to time. I should think that the soil build up of carbon continues for a vey long time. Joe
