Oh yes. The the big one in my video is much larger than the down tree that I 
counted the rings on. So the big one could be a lot older. I think the soil 
might be pretty similar. Both are in relatively damp conditions, not 
desert-like.

Barry, The post you did I think was it last week with the downed Pitch
Pine ring count, could be used for a gauge to get a age on these trees
by comparison of the Diameters.  Larry
