That is an impressive oak. A few years ago we began tracking hardwoods in the 
Northeast that reach girths of 12 feet and heights of 100. You've found us 
another.

Today I had the privilege of climbing a massive red oak in the Marple Newtown 
vicinity of SE PA today. The homeowner is a grower of champion orchids and was 
concerned about several dead limbs from the tree overhanging her greenhouse. 
The Measurements, Height- 106.3 feet Spread- 84x75 feet circumference-13.3 feet
