Bob:

I spent the day hiking in the Monroe State Forest. It's always great to get
out of the office and connect with the resource. The results of the Forest
Futures Vision Process will be released to the public soon. The process
incorporated broad public input and a broad cross section of stakeholders
and experts. The Technical Steering Committee is composed of 11 individuals
and one of the experts on the committee who values the forest lands was ENTS
member Joseph Zorzin, as well as a well-respected academic, David Foster of
the Harvard Forest.

We have a heat wave on the way this week with temperatures possibly reaching
above freezing so continue enjoying the great outdoors.
