Standard regulation for CS2 (The MSHA, The Mine Safety and Health
Administration) is 60 mg/m3. This compound is classified as one of the most
extensive substance causing neurotoxicology. The exposure to CS2 at the
level less than 8 mg/m3 can cause functional deficits in intelligence,
memory, spatial relations, coordination and speed.
