mm is this why we're in such a shamble state in trying to protect the environment?

well first, I thought this mailing list was solely for discussing about environmental
concerns ?...apart from it's hard to feel sympathetic towards what i believe a result
of collective stupidity made worse by
the egos of everyone involves..
(all the heavy-handed act and over-sentimental/narrow minded nationalism/separatism)
so..any energy left to raise the awareness of the problems caused by illegal logging
towards the survival of endangered species, (orang-utans etc?)
(well 'tough the issue recently raised by british media whose country officially
reserve just "0 %" of its land for nature..we couldn't just laugh at it. could we?)

Saya kebetulan kanal dengan associate LEAD di Aceh: Pak Burhanuddin (FKIP Unsyiah),
dan Pak Jamal A. Gawi (F.Pertanian). Saya sangat heran dan menyayangkan bahwa mereka
tidak begitu concern dengan aspek HAM di Aceh (sejauh yang saya tahu). Seperti pernah
saya sampaikan di forum ini, kayaknya penggiat lingkungan di YPB-LEAD lebih peduli
"lingkungan hidup" an sich dan agak lupa dengan makhluk "hidup" bernama manusia. Tidak
seperti WALHI atau WWF. Walhi Aceh misalnya, adalah salah satu garda depan gerakan
lingkungan sekaligus HAM di Aceh.
Jelas ini hanya pandangan saya sebagai orang awam isu lingkungan dan hanya mengenal
dari jauh asociate LEAD yang ada di Aceh tersebut.
Apakah karena mengobok-obok masalah lingkungan lebih "aman" dari pada isu HAM?
