Hi There seem to be a big gap between the small and easy kind of image-viewers as eog and advanced tools as gimp. What I really miss is some basic features as copy and paste. It should be possible to paste an image from the clipboard (a screen dump for example). It should be possible to make a selection, ctrl-c, and then paste that to get a part of the image as a new image.
