Hi Shashvat,
Don't expect too much of the opera. If you just walk by you'll miss it
because it's exterior architecture isn't that great. Visit the roof of the
cathedral - really great sight from there and you get a closer look at the
details of this great church which was completed not until 1950!
Another interesting piece of art is San Satiro, not far away from the
cathedral in the Via Torino (on the left side, coming from the cathedral).
Due to limitations of building space the apse is just illusionistic painting
- no real depth! I was stunned when I visited that small church.
Wide angle lens would be better IMHO.
