I have used Kodak HEI infrared film in my EOS50e, and like written in the
archives, the IR sprocket-hole-counter (?) only fogs the lower rail of
sprocket holes - the notion from various people, that IR film can not be
used in EOS50 does not hold true for this type of film in this camera.
I have not yet tried the HEI in my EOS30, but I can see the same design in
the film compartment, so I think the EOS30 is comparable to the EOS50. I
have some HEI film in my fridge, so I will try it asap!
