Hi Bob:

Inexpensive construction style halogen lights of the sort you might find
at large hardware stores such as Home Depot and others, as well as more
specialized (and costly) photographic halogen lights will provide excellent
results if used with light filtering gels. The gel material is very
inexpensive and available in large sheets which are easily cut to size as
needed and affixed to the lamp housings with clips, clamps or specialized
filter holders. Double Clips used to hang dry negatives are very useful for
this purpose.

I have used the daylight blue filter gel material and found it to
provide excellent results. It is heat resistant and will doesn't melt from
the heat of the lamp housings.

    Hope this helps.

provide you with several supply houses in the LA area.
