Subject: Elan 7 and Sigma lenses
Two weeks ago, I posted a message blasting Sigma for not supporting a
fix for my Sigma 24mm lens which is incompatible with the Elan 7.
This weekend, I checked their website and discovered they now have a
fix and are willing to fix it for free.
I guess the Elan 7 was just too new for them and I should have been
more patient.
Their web site lists about half their lenses as being incompatible
with the new Elan 7. Anyone who owns a Sigma EOS lens should check it
out. Remember, just because the lens works with an EOS 3 does not
guarantee it will work with the Elan 7.
