Hi Dave,
The Sigma 170-500mm is definitely on the "Requires Upgrade" list.
So it would seem that the incompatibility is only with the EOS 30/33
Unless you had the 170-500 serviced recently?
The other lens with a known incompatibility is the Sigma 24mm f/2.8
Has anyone tried this on an EOS D-30
