Hi -

I'm new to photography and recently acquired an A2E. Today I receive my 540EZ
flash from an online vendor and to my surprise it is in Metric (i.e. meter
versus USA ft.) and came with an international warranty. Nowhere on the
vendor's Web site that it states that I should be receiving a Metric unit.

I can live with a Metric unit. However, since I'm unfamiliar with grey market
items, my question are:

1. What constitute a Grey item? Is my 540EZ a Grey item?
2. How does it affect my warranty in the US?
3. Is it true that a grey market item are cheaper?
4. Should I return it to the vendor and ask for a USA model?
5. Is there any incompatibility I should know just because it is a Metric unit
(besides the obvious manual metric-ft. conversion)?

My advance thanks,
Khoa Nguyen
