My first impressions of the EOS 30 with the BP-300 fixed.
Very nice and compact. All controls are easily accessible. With the 28-135
IS attached, it is well balanced and feels good. The ECF calibration worked
well first time. I couldn't get the diopter adjustment to work for me, I'll
have to read the manual for that -when I get an English one 8o) - German
version supplied 9o( .
BTW - The small notch at the index finger position does not look like any
type of receiver. A mystery? Maybe when I receive the English manual I'll
know more.
Once again, I must say that I have received the very best of service from
Graham Maclean at NY-Camera and would recommend them to anyone thinking of
purchasing from them (if they supply the English manual for me).
I also purchased an EOS 300 body from them on the same order so, come
Christmas, we'll have another convert to the EOS clan ;o)
