Does anyone know for sure if the 100-300 L is being discontinued? If it is,
anybody have any guesses as to what is replacing it? Camera World had a
great price on it, but they said that it was discontinued and they didn't
have any stock left. I have noticed that the prices have dropped like a
rock. October's price for the 100-300 L at B&H was $599.95. As of today, it
is $349.95. Grey market is $329.95. I sold my 100-300 USM last week and I am
thinking about buying the L to replace it, but I might hold off if a new
100-300 L USM is in the works.
