I bought one the month after I got my Elan IIe in 1997. Love that
eyecup. I'm left eye'd so I've never thought of whether it would
obstruct the exposure lock button on the back right top. It
doesn't obstruct the quick dial on the Elan II. The eyecup must
be removed to load film, but it does fold over the top of the
prism to make the camera easy to store. I'd recommend getting it.
