To all those on the list who may have been waiting for
the release of the Sto-Fen OmniBounce to suit the
420EX speedlite - it's here. The model number is
OM-EX.
Some time ago I asked Sto_Fen if they'd let me know
when it was released, and today I got an email from
Ernie Fenn to let me know that they're now in stock.
I ordered it from the Sto-Fen online shop today, along
with one for my 550EX. They haven't updated the web
site to list the OM-EX yet, so Ernie said to select
"Unlisted Flash Unit" and type in the model number and
flash there.
He said they got a 420EX from Photokina in Germany in
September, and it's taken 'till now to get the omni to
suit into production. They're expecting their second
batch of 500 to come in tomorrow. I can't wait to get
mine - I've been missing the one I sold with my old
430EZ!
