I don't follow here Skip. 1.4x is one stop loss - so should give you f5.6,
not 6.3. I disagree with the comments regarding image degradation with TC's
as I regularly use the EF1.4x on the 300/2.8 IS and 70-200/4 for magazine
reproduction with good results. The 2x gives a more questionable result and
I always try to avoid using it.
