I noticed the top one being lighter, but when in portrait orientation ("up
and down") the right most (bottom in landscape) is the least bright. Pretty
weird

This combo feels excellent, if you have large hands. In the portrait
orientation you have a sure grip. I am not using the AA type batteries and
the whole unit is well balanced and weighted.

I always have problems when a neck-strap is attached and I am awaiting
delivery of the E1 wrist/hand grip to see if this helps.

One thing I have NOT noticed, is that all focus points light-up with the
same luminescence. Someone said earlier that their topmost point was not as
bright - could this be that the sky is usually the brightest part of an
outdoor image?

Bob
