Hello,

I recently got some pictures back that appear to not have been exposed very
well. They were flash pictures, and I'm wondering if it had to do with the
way the camera calculates flash exposure.

My camera was set on P. I know that the camera is supposed to properly
expose the subject, but what happens if I recompose (still holding the shutter
button half-down to lock the focus)? What will the camera assume is the
"subject" at this point? Will it assume that the area covered by the focus
points is the subject and expose for that?

Thanks,
David
