Hi Skip,

EOS Magazine (Sept. 2000) lists cameras which can be used with IR film:

Problem-free: EOS 1, 1N, 1NRS, 1V, 10, 600, 620, 650, 700, 750, 850, RT
Small-problem (some fogging): EOS 1000, 1000F, 1000N, 1000FN
Bigger problem (significant fogging): EOS 100, 5, 50/E, 500/N, 5000, 30,
300, 3000

Author says that: "EOS 10 uses a sprocket drive for film advance, but
combines this with an infrared system for counting the frames. This system
is buried inside the camera and should not fog the film. However, we have
heard of occasional fogging with well-used EOS 10 cameras, where the
infrared leaks through the worn mechanism."
"Note that both the small problem and bigger problem only relate to true
infrared films. They do not affect Ilford SFX and Konica 750 films, which
have only limited infrared sensitivity. These films can be used in all EOS
models without any problems."

So they say in the EOS Magazine, but you should try it yourself.

Bye,

Rafal A. Walas
