This sounds like a great opportunity to experiment! While IMHO I think the
85mm with a tripod would be the best choice, since this is going to be an
amateur, fun kind of thing why not bring everything you have and try them
all? Then if you ever have a more serious occasion to use a studio, you'll
know what works best.
