If you mean the Sigma EX 2x TC, it will not fit the Sigma 70-300 lens.
This converter is very much like Canons 2x TC, they both have a
protruding front element which will not allow you to attach it to
most lenses, except for lenses with an accordingly recessed rear
element. It will fit on the Sigma 70-200/2.8 EX, though.
