They might be made up from 2/3AAs. >> HI, If you are talking about Canon sealed packs - they have 8 AA sized cells/units - I took mine apart, from my 1n booster pack, discharged them with a Radio Shack $15 charger to get rid of "memory" effect when they were not holding much power anymore and charged them again. Than put it together and it works fine again - charges by Canon charger again. Cells themselves look like AAs, without little pointy end, so I had to stick a little peice of metal while charging in a Radio Shack charger - so I could get a tight fit. But in any event - there 8 sells, not 10 - looks much like a AA battery holder for the booster.
