Actually, the Pro Shop is where I bought my EOS 3 and 540EZ (both currently
for sale). The 540EZ had a cracked "hot shoe" and I was sent to the repair
facility south of their on U.S. 1. The Pro Shop does not offer service on
site, I was told.
I do remember now that the repair center had a location in Broward of
Miami-Dade counties and that is where the actual work was performed.

You must be thinking of The Proshop for Photographers, part of the Palm
Beach Photo Workshop, which sponsors the FotoFusion. Friendly and
knowledgeable people. The shop, when I was there in '95, sells Canon
and Hasselblad. That's all. Their logo is on most Canon brochures.
It is on 2nd St. N if my memory serves me correctly.
