Hi,
I used my EOS500 while travelling. During the day I never switched it off. I
had to make the pictures sometimes quite fast to catch the action and I
heard too much about the command dial problems. I thought that the camera
doesn't use more battery power when just being on than a wristwatch, so I
didn't expect the battery discharging, but it did in about 2-3 weeks. (It
was also used earlyer for some rolls.)
Is this normal? Does it really use so much power in Av mode when not
focusing or metering?
