I had no idea that the ST-E2's ratio control only works with an EOS-3 attached
(I'm assuming the 1V also now)! Nowhere on any website, Canon USA included,
does it mention this. I'm just a lowly Elan IIe owner.
So, I have to return my 420EX and upgrade to the 550EX so I can set it manually
for ratio control using the ST-E2. This will be my second 550EX, ouch!
Just thought I'd let you know.
