Why the question about fair? Because it was in
auto-selection mode and the 1n doesn't (quite) have
that?
I see nothing unfair about that. Camera features
improve with time and technology. When you're in the
field shooting, you'll use the technology available to
you, so I think that's the way to compare the
different bodies.
