Hi Bob,

It seems that the Elan IIe/EOS 50 and the Elan 7E/EOS 30
are in a different league regarding autofocus speed.

Your method of testing AF sounds safer than Nuts and Bolts
author Philip Chong's method. He drove a motorcycle at high
speed, then let go of the handlebars to shoot !!!
