As time goes on new algorithms make AF tracking faster.
SInce the new 7e is several years newer than the venerable 1n
it would only seem logical that although not aws well built
AF would be better as would focus tracking.
SOmetimes writers hype up things because they are overly enthusiastic
about new equipment. I recently had the CONTAX N1 and although all the
trades say its great, I think its stinks. SLOW AF makes even the Rebel look
fast by comparison and a rediculous layout of the controls.
Nice lenses, crummy camera. Stick to Canon.
