Hy Bob, I have no any information about prices in Germany but in Hungary the EF 28-135 IS lens is about GBP 580 (250.000 HUF). This is the cheapest price I found. If I could get this lens (with garanty) for GBP ~380 I would be very happy. In the EOS magazine I saw some very good price for this lens around GBP 380-400.
