Hello

I have just sold my old body, a EOS 5 (AE2E in the US I think) and
intend to buy a new one. I can't decide between a new EOS 30 or a
second-hand EOS 3. I have both cameras in my hand at a shop but didn't
take pictures with them. I've noticed the EOS 3 is bigger, heavier and
makes a whole lot more noise when shooting (the EOS 30 must be the
quietest SLR I've ever seen) but it has spot metering and a couple of
other functions I might miss. On the other hand it has not built-in
flash. Also I heard say the EOS 3 can autofocus at f/8 (ex: 100-400L +
1.4x extender). Does the EOS 30 also has the capability.
If anyone owns or has tested any of these cameras, could they share
their impressions/experiences with me? Thanks a lot.

Hugo
