I decided to buy FD 35mm f/2.8 TS SSC lens (2nd hand). I believe that the decision was right for me, although the EOS 24mm f/3.5 TS-E was hard to pass. I thought that it might be interesting to perform a direct comparison test between the 2 lenses, including the 24mm + 1.4 TC. I have not read anywhere of such a test. If anyone on the list with the 24mm TS-E is interested in getting together with me and nutting out a series of relevant tests, then email me. Suggestions from list members for tests would be welcome. I know that this is OT, but I would appreciate any emails concerning the following question. The TS-E lenses are able to be altered to have both the tilt and shift operate in parallel (dozens of posts in the archives). The question is: can this alteration also be made to the FD TS lens? There are 4 screws at the back of the lens, I think similar to the TS-E. Interestingly, this same question on the FD mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), failed to elicit one single response!
