Wow, I finally received the original post the WJM sent out. Despite what
the ad says, the Photo-Fax raincoats are only Cordura nylon, not Gore-Tex,
and there's no reason for Gore-Tex anyway, since photo gear doesn't
sweat. The design is better than some I've seen in that you stick your
hand under the cover to operate the camera instead of trying to operate it
through the nylon. The best thing about it is it's pretty simple as far as
rain covers go. The only other cover I've tried, by Tenba, is more
complicated, and thus less useful or easy to operate, because they designed
it to secure underneath the camera. Hard to explain, but trust me, it's
not a good design. As the Photo-Fax page says it accomodates up to 2x
teleconverters which is very nice. Other than that...it's a cover, and
still a pain in the butt as all covers are, though less than some others.
