Greg must be a body builder with a neck that can handle that combination.
If I'm going to be doing much walking I carry the EOS 3 (and PB-E2) with
100-400 attached using a Tamrac Boomerang strap and just sling it. The
weight's on your shoulder that way and the camera/lens rides pretty well
near your hip. And it slips up quickly when you want to shoot.
