>Something I would buy on the first day of seeing it: a BP-E2. >I mean a battery pack with the same complement of controls >(except of course those dealing with the booster operation, >if any) as the PB-E2. Rationale: I don't need more than 7 fps >on my 3 (landscapes usually dont run *that* fast), but I >like convenience when taking vertically oriented pictures. >I also like the convenience of being able to use cheap >AA batteries or recharchables. But I'll never buy the BP-E1, >since it has no controls. > >Would I be the only buyer of such a thing ? > >P.S. of course not at 90% of the price of the BP-E2. Let's >say one third would be the limit. Me too. It seems the current BatteryPack-E1 costs about 40% of PBooster-E2 (without rechargeable batteries). Add the minimum controls and I'm afraid you are at least at 50%. If anyone is practical in mechanics and electronics it is possible to build basic controls in BatteryPack-E1 yourself I believe. I feel it should not be any bigger than the current BatteryPack-E1.
