Well I thought that my 30 had gone on the blink or the 28-135 lens was not
working properly. I had just received a disposable camera (another story)
and wanted to take a couple of pics of the camera. I had put on the 550EX
and pressed the shutter and I thought it was taken a long time to take the
exposure. The data 1/60 @ f3.5 but seemed to take about 30 secs to take the
pic. Then I realised that I had left CF5 set to 1 and this meant a delay of
30secs before the curtain opened.
Seems a silly mistake, but if I had not heard about this on the list I would
have been worried.
Disposable Camera Story -
As part of a project started by Bob Talbot, I today received a disposable
camera that has been around the world. I am to take one pic and pass it on
to Germany. This project is part of PhotoForum
(http://www.rit.edu/~andpph/photoforum.html). Maybe we should do the same
type of exercise. Julian, would you purchase an EOS D30 and take one shot
and pass the camera to me please 8o).
