Considering the great ratings this lens got, I was really tempted to buy one
until I noticed the weight. It is over two pounds! That is more than twice as
heavy as other L lenses such as the 24/1.4 or 35/1.4 (which are heavy compared
to other "non-L" lenses).
Does anyone out there own one? Do you need a camera bag with wheels like
airport luggage? Is it really that much better than the 85/1.8 to be worth
dragging around?
