>What is the traditional warranty that the Elan 7E comes with? Would it be >worth it to buy the warranty? Are the Elan series of cameras much more >durable than the Rebel series? The Canon USA warranty is one (1) year. There are extended warranties from Canon and from Mack Camera (see http://www.mackcam.com/) which add length to the original, but do not add extra coverage. Mack also offers an "Ultimate" warranty which covers everything including operator errors like immersion & impact damage. The Elan series is not significantly more robust than the Rebels, but the Rebel is sufficiently well made for most amateur use. regards, Henry Posner/B&H Photo-Video http://www.bhphotovideo.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
