Hello,
Does anyone have a take on Canon's 28-200 lens? I checked the
archives and found very little. I also checked out
photographyreview.com and found four reviews, all of which were
very positive. We're obviously talking about a consumer grade
lens, but it does seem to do better than the 3rd party super
zooms. I'm attracted to it because I'm going on a trip this
summer and would like to bring along just one lens. Plus there is
a $30 mail-in rebate right now.
At my local camera shop, the sales rep showed me 4x6's of half a
roll that he shot with the 28-200. The results looked as good as
my 28-105.
If no one on this list has first hand experience and end up
getting one, I'll report my findings in July when I get back.
