On my Elan 7, Custom Function 4, set at 2 gives AF operation start
with shutter button, AF operation stop with * button. What is the
utility of this? I mean, AF stops when you take your finger off the
shutter (or * button) anyway, and this just eliminates AE lock. What
am I missing?
