I am considering digital and the new Canon Pro90 with the 37-370 (35mm equivalent) IS
lens seems intriguing to me. Anyone have experience with this? I am considering this
in lieu of a new Elan 7 body. There is a huge difference in price (<$500 for the Elan
7 versus $1100 for the Pro90 plus $300 for memory cards and maybe even a more for a
new printer). But I would obviously be saving on film and developing costs. (At an
average cost of $0.33 per frame of film, the cost difference is approximately 75 rolls
of 36 exp film). What is the difference in image quality?

I know the Pro 90 is much slower in terms of frame rate and has the digital lag. But
the thing about digital that tempts me is that I seem to take a lot of "bad" pictures
and it is such a waste to have 2-3 good pictures per roll of film. With digital, I
would basically have free film, once the upfront costs are taken care of.
