Hi all,
Each time I hear you speaking about this and that used lens in mint
condition for 60% of the new price I wish I was in USA. Here in Belgium
the second hand market is innexistent... you only find FD lenses at EOS
prices and sometimes one or another consumer lens at 95% the new price.
Not a great deal.
Even in the 'dedicated' 2nd hand photo markets it's very *VERY*
difficult to find EOS gear (mostly Nikons and some Minolta).
I was thinking on trying the American 2nd hand market by using B&H or
similar. Does somebody has similar experiences?? Do you have to pay
customs on 2nd hand gear? What if you don't like what you get??
If anybody knows about similar oportunities within the EU-zone, it will
be even better. I usually check the used gear list from NY Camera
(Germany), and besides that it's in german, the word "EOS" is also not
very common.
