As already mentioned, there is no adapter available from Canon.  You
could purchase a 1000-T3 cord and a 1000-N3 cord... cut them both and
solder 2.5mm plugs and jacks.  The 2.5mm plug could go directly to the
EOS 300 and 7E, or adapt to a T3 for EOS 5.

I've done this before - but the one caveat is that the wires in the
cords don't solder very well - you must be careful.
