Oh yeah!! Trading in Tamron 28-200 to EF28-135 is exactly what I did, the
Tamron is an OK lens, it certainly has an amazing zoom range that you will
miss, but I found the quality of the images, ie. sharpness, brightness, as
well as AF performance improved noticeably with the Canon lens, even it
wasn't an L lens.
