Hi there,

My EOS 600 appears to be draining battery power at an alarming rate.
It is not being used very much and I have got through 2 brand new batteries
in 2 months. The batteries were top quality brands and were due to expire in
2010. I've only got through 3 films in that time. The camera has been turned
off and kept safe when not in use.
Has anyone heard of any unusual battery drain problems with 'any' EOS
camera, especially the 600?

This is REALLY frustrating because I was all prepared to take some great
lightning shots, and the camera is rather...lifeless. It's telling me to
change the battery. So I've tried out my fathers Yashica Minister-D. Let's
see how they come out.
As I type this, the horizon is being lit up by the most aggressive and
exciting lightning I've ever seen...how typical is that??

Can anyone suggest anything - Please?!

Thanks,
SR
