I haven't seen the EOS-7 guide, but if the EOS-3 guide is any clue, then
the book isn't worth buying over the manual. The EOS-3 guide was mostly a
patched up beginner's book with very little specific detail on the -3
beyond what the manual covers.
Not anything like the lauded Magic Lantern Nikon series guides which are
apparently quite good and worth getting.
