Hi all,

I've two little accidents to report (and maybe get some help)...

1.- the other way I was "stalking" a rooster through a fence, trying to
get a close-up at 1:1. I needed that mm more so I pushed on the fence
with the result that my flash went through. It got slightly scratched
both sides of the head. It's not that much, but I was just planning to
sell it and it'll take some value away from it. Is there any way I can
polish it to remove those scratches?

2.- I was playing (macro) 2 nights ago in my garage and I accidentaly
let my 50f1.8 MK1 fall. It felt not more than 10 cm on a not-so-hard
wood piece. I didn't use it 'til yesterday night (part 2 of the "play"
:-) and what a ugly surprise it was to find out that it wouldn't focus
manually anymore. It was stuk between infinity and 5 mtrs (about 1/8 of
the turn). AF did just the same. I brutally forced it and it started to
focus the whole range again, but it kept on doing "steps" at certain
intervals. Anybody have had that before?

Thanks a lot!! and have a nice weekend!

Gerard.
